Presidential Support
Please provide endorsement from your community college president, or designee.
The endorsement should be on college letterhead or a pdf of an email from the president or designee.
In 1 page the endorsement should affirm:
  • Institutional and financial support to attend the cohort retreats
  • The applicant’s readiness to become an emerging community college leader

Personal Narrative
Please provide a personal narrative addressing the following criteria:
  • Why is strengthening your leadership important to you?
  • What personal strengths and professional experiences will you bring to the program?
  • What gaps in your leadership would you like to strengthen through this program and why?
Share any additional reasons you would like to participate in this program.

Your narrative should be:
  • minimum of one page and a maximum of two pages,
  • double-spaced, and
  • 12-point font.
Selection Criteria: Applicants will be chosen primarily based on their personal narratives.
Institutional representation, prior application and presidential priority will also be considered.
