Building on the foundation of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Competencies, the Spring 2026 cohort translated theory into action through two intensive projects during their February and March retreats. Leveraging mock data and expert resources, each team collaborated to:

• Design Comprehensive Outreach Initiatives: Each team developed mock community engagement plans, including targeted marketing materials, for a fictitious community college.
• Developed Strategic Plans: Each team drafted a mock strategic plan designed for presentation to a Board of Trustees, sharpening their institutional governance and planning skills.
